Milhan Şekeroğlu – Architect, Founder

I graduated in architecture from Süleyman Demirel University in 2006 and founded Mil Mimarlık in Fethiye in 2009. Since then I have designed more than 100 villas and apartment buildings, and acted as the building contractor on 12 of them. I am a member of the Chamber of Architects of Turkey (Fethiye branch).

My design approach is minimalist and functional, with close attention to how every square metre is used. Each project starts by listening to the client: their needs, their routines and the way they want to live. The aim is a building that truly belongs to its owner and its site.

Because I handle both design and construction, the details we agree on in the drawings are the details that get built on site.

I live in Fethiye and know the region's climate, terrain and building traditions first-hand. I also work with international clients, have designed and built homes for them, and run projects in English from first meeting to handover.
